HRC Backstory
Twenty years ago, the Sconyers family experienced a personal health care crisis. At only sixteen months old their youngest son, Bryan was vaccine-injured and entered the autism spectrum as a result. After searching relentlessly for healthy, successful treatments, of which repeatedly fell short, Gary left his job in health care and returned to school to become educated in naturopathic health options. In 1998, he obtained his Naturopathic Doctorate from Trinity School of Natural Health. With the working knowledge of numerous aspects of alternative methods, Gary and his wife Ann worked daily with their son Bryan to help him overcome great obstacles and make a complete transformation and recovery. Once Gary obtained his degree he joined the Wellness Center of Lewisville, Texas and later transitioned to the Wellness Center of Grapevine, Texas where he remained until 2002. At that time Dr. Sconyers and his wife Ann founded and launched their very own business the very well known Health Resource Center.

Now, years later, Bryan is a very valuable and incredible asset to the family business sharing his life story and education with clients. Bryan works tirelessly researching new therapies which are proven to be successful of which are constantly incorporate in the clinic. Bryan’s compassion, knowledge and encouragement inspire our loyal clients daily on their journey towards a healthy life. Together, Dr. Sconyers, Bryan and Ann work with clients to establish the root cause of health issues and concerns and then create a plan utilizing integrated solutions.
The Sconyers had experienced years of success in numerous areas of healing which led them in 2011 to form the prestigious Academy of Comprehensive and Integrative Medicine, ACIM, (www.acimconnect.com). The Academy is focused on updating, informing and instructing medical and osteopathic doctors, chiropractors, oriental medicine doctors, naturopaths, registered nurses and massage therapists in integrative medicine. The Academy currently host and provide webinars, plus an annual conference for fellow doctors invested in improving their care through integrating western medicine with proven alternative therapies and remedies.
